Deserved: Denmark smashed Spain and won bronze medal!

After eight long years, Denmark finally won a medal at the World Championship! In match for bronze, Denmark smashed Spain 35:28.

Denmark played great throughout the championship. They were adorned with superb defense and what they changed in the game compared to previous years is their attack and realisation.

In the semifinals, they were eliminated by France after a very bad finish, more precisely in the last 7 minutes. Denmark had victory in their hand, controlled the whole game, but unfortunately they didn't manage to keep the advantage until the end and advance to the finals.

However, the bronze medal match remained, which Denmark managed to solve in their favor and finally won the medal after eight years!
