Pharaohs on fire!

Sensational win for the Egypt in the second round over the North Macedonia! Its clear, Egypt and Sweden will fight for the first place in group G.

The Pharaohs opened the game very well. They took the lead from the very early beginning and that difference only increased by the end of the game. Northern Macedonia had serious problems in the attack, they simply did not have solutions for Egypt's staunch defense. This is the second defeat for Macedonia, and as things stand, they will have to look for a way forward against Chile.

Egypt is really playing better and better from game to game. Roberto Garcia Parrondo is doing a great job with this national team, and as he says, the next duel against Sweden is very important to them because they will see how things stand.

The most efficient in the ranks of Egypt was pivot Mohamed Mamdouh, with 8 goals scored, followed by Hassan Kadah with 6.
