Denmark defended the title!


Denmark managed to defend the title by defeating Sweden in the final of the IHF World Championship in Egypt. 


The Danes won the second gold medal from the world championships in their history, second in a row.


Despite the absences of Sweden main stars, they made amazing result! Just to remeber, Sweden came to Egypt without: Niklas Ekberg, Jesper Nielsen, Simon Jeppsson, Lukas Nilsson, Andreas Nilsson and Jerry Tollbring. 


Sweden proved great resistance in the final, the match was tight till the 45min when Landin showed why is he the best goalkeeper in the world! Key moment of the match was in 58th minute, when Landin saved 7m throw from Hampus Wanne, when the result was 25:23 for Denmark. 


In the ranks of Denmark, the most efficient was Mikkel Hansen with 7 goals scored, while the most efficient in the ranks of Sweden was Hampus Wanne with 5 goals scored.
